State Review Framework - Data Metrics Query Help

SRF State Trends Report

The SRF State Trends Report allows users to view summary State Review Framework data metrics in one state, for the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), or Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) over multiple fiscal years. The SRF State Trends Report allows users to graph individual metrics across multiple years, and provides users with an excellent medium to analyze metric statistics and trends.

Statute
Options include CAA, CWA, and RCRA. The CWA State Trends Report will run either a CWA PCS or ICIS-NPDES report. See the full list of PCS or ICIS-NPDES states.

Time Periods
Users can select multiple time periods. Time period options date back to federal Fiscal Year 2004 (FY04).

Exclude EPA and Combined Results
Users can check the "Exclude EPA and Combined Results" checkbox to remove all metric rows that are not applicable to a state review.

Users can select one state.

SRF Multi-State Report

The SRF Multi-State Report, pulls only FY2008 Frozen data. The SRF Multi-State Report allows users to view selected CAA, CWA, or RCRA data metrics, for all US states and territories, over one fiscal year. The SRF Multi-State Report allows users to graph individual metrics across all US states and territories.

Metric
The "Ctrl" key can be used to select multiple metrics for display.

Metric Report
Selecting the "Metric Report" option will produce an HTML report with results from each selected metric in separate columns.

National Download
Selecting the "National Download" link on the query page will open one of three file options (PDF, XLS, CSV) that contain Data Metrics results for every state and every metric.

Graph
Selecting the "Graph" option will produce a fusion chart graph of the selected metric. Users are allowed to graph only one metric at a time. Users can also produce a graph by clicking on the link provided in the last row of the "Metric Report."

Data Download Options
Users can download a comma delimited text file, or excel download by clicking on the "Download XLS" links located just above the graph. The metric numbers shown on the download are based on the Data Metrics programming structure.

Exporting a graph to a "pdf" or "jpg":

The SRF Multi-State Report Graphing Utility now has the ability to produce 'jpgs' and 'pdfs' of the graph for export. This function is only available to users who have the latest version of Adobe Flash (version 10). Please note, users can sometimes have different versions of Flash installed across different browsers on your machine (for example, a user may have flash version 9 installed in Firefox, and flash version 10 installed in Internet Explorer). In order to export and save your chart: Export and Print instructions can also be viewed by clicking the "Print" and "Export" buttons in the upper-right corner of each SRF Multi-State Report graph.

The columns provided in the SRF Multi-State Report output include: The last row on the SRF Multi-State Report output provides graph links, which allow users to graph metric values across all US states and territories.

Users can download a comma delimited text file, or excel download by clicking on the "Save Results" links located directly below the results table. The metric numbers shown on the download are based on the programming structure.
