Clean Water Act (CWA) Data Searches
For the Clean Water Act National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program, EPA is responsible for reviewing the performance of state enforcement and compliance programs (and EPA Regional programs when the state is not authorized to implement the program). The State Review Framework is a national process that includes the review of data metrics (available from this site), file review, evaluation, and development of final reports and findings. The websites below provide information on the data metrics used. Please be aware that the data do not provide a complete picture of program performance. For more information about the State Review Framework process, and to review the final reports produced for each state, please visit the SRF site.
